TREATMENT SCHEDULE

The number of treatment sessions depends on the individual patient and treatment. Corrective mode may vary from 3-5 sessions. Treatments are typically repeated every 4-6 weeks.

POST-TREATMENT ADVICE

• Immediately after treatment, most patients will experience a skin redness (erythema) for 1-3 days, however for more stronger treatments this may last longer. Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and mild to moderate sunburn sensation are also common post treatment and may last 1-3 days. Any adverse reaction should be reported immediately.
• Tiny scabs may appear on the skin for a few days as part of a normal healing.
• You will be given advice on which products can be used post treatments according to your individual skin needs. 
• Keep the skin clean, avoid touching and applying any form of make-up 24 hours after the procedure. 
• Your therapist will inform you when you may resume the use of your usual skin care products (usually 2-3 days).
• There are no restrictions on bathing except to treat the skin gently, avoid scrubbing or trauma to the treated areas, as if you had a sunburn.
• Avoid sauna and extreme heat exposure in the next 24-48 hours following the treatment. 
• Avoid sun exposure.
• Use SPF 30 -50 at all times for the next 24-48 hours following the treatment and for two weeks post treatment when exposing the skin to the sun. 
• Maintenance sessions vary in timing with patient, treatment area and clinical indications.
